The Philosophy
At Yugen Existence, I am honoured to walk alongside, hold space without judgement and offer my unconditional support to everyone I am privileged to meet on the journey. I believe that the final chapters of life can be just as beautiful as birth when you are prepared and empowered to make the decisions that align with you. I contend there is much beauty and deep yugen moments as we near the end of our journey and this is an opportune time for people to share many 'pearls of wisdom'. Yugen Existence offers a diverse array of legacy services that provide an ethical, heart-centred platform in ensuring you feel supported and well prepared, regardless of where you are at on your journey.
The Yugen Doula
I am an end-of-life doula and grief educator with an extensive 20 year background in education. I have completed further training in end-of-life care, grief and bereavement support, professional development in 'trauma-informed practice' and 'the impact of poverty in the community'. In recent years, I have explored further training in well-being, reiki, hypnotherapy, qigong and hold higher tertiary qualifications in education, music and am currently working towards completing my Master in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I am honoured to offer my holistic and heart-centred approach to the wider community in end-of-life care, advocating that your wishes are fulfilled all the way through whilst maintaining compassion and reverence to all involved.
When engaging with me through Yugen Existence, there are many services that can be organised and added to your care plan to alleviate further stress and responsibility placed on others while maintaining excellent communication with your chosen support services, family and friends. Although I am largely based on the Gold Coast and offer my support services to this area, I am also available for consultation via zoom beyond this geographical area.
